| dc.description.abstract | Tattooing in a foreign language has become more popular in countries like Colombia. Due to the rare command of a second language among the inhabitants of Bogotá and Colombia, the interest of this research arises to analyse the implications of a tattoo made in a foreign language. As a result, it is affirmed that tattooing in a foreign language is a practice that responds to the dynamic recognition of cultural hierarchy of languages, as well as to social constructions of gender that are reaffirmed through the characteristics of tattoos. Thus, the actions that the subject performs on his body are loaded with certain values that the subjects identify and decide to carry in his/her body. | en_US |
| dc.description.abstract | El tatuaje en un idioma extranjero es un fenómeno que ha aumentado su popularidad en países como Colombia. Debido al poco frecuente dominio de una segunda lengua entre los habitantes de Bogotá y de Colombia, surge el interés de esta investigación de analizar las implicaciones de un tatuaje realizado en una lengua extranjera. Como resultado, se afirma que el tatuaje en un idioma extranjero es una práctica que responde a dinámicas del reconocimiento de la jerarquía cultural de las lenguas, así como a construcciones sociales de género que se reafirman a través de las características de los tatuajes. Así, las acciones que realiza el sujeto sobre su cuerpo están cargadas de ciertos valores que el sujeto identifica y decide portar en su cuerpo. | en_US |
