Abstract

This contribution deals with the reconstruction of the development of transcultural competence in the EFL classroom. Following the documentary interpretation of videographed lessons developed by Asbrand/Martens (2018), a sample interpretation of a selected lesson sequence with a focus on learners’ responses to literary texts will be discussed.
