In dem Theaterstück Extasy Rave greift die österreichische Autorin Con­stanze Dennig brisante Themen der modernen Gesellschaft auf, die oft im bioethischen Bereich liegen. Extasy Rave behandelt auf tragikomische Art die Problematik der Überalterung unserer Gesellschaft in den kommenden Jahrzehnten und stellt Euthanasie als einen eventuellen Ausweg zur Dis­kussion. Ihren eigenen Standpunkt bezeichnet Dennig als "ganz radikal und rigoros". Als Ärztin ist sie eindeutig für die Rettung des Lebens und nicht für seine Vernichtung. Diese Position findet ihren Niederschlag im Stück. Dabei werden wirtschaftliche, soziale und ethische Aspekte des Problems aufgedeckt.

In her play Extasy Rave, Austrian author Constanze Dennig takes up controversal topics of modern society, often from the field of bio-ethics. Extasy Rave treats the problems of the overaging of our society in the next decades in a tragi-comical way by putting the idea of euthanasia as a possible solution to the test. She defines her own position as “quite radical and rigorous". As a medical doctor, she is definitely in favour of the saving of life and not the destruction of life. This position is expressed in her play, which reveals eco­nomical, social and ethical aspects of the problem.
